Connect CLōD to Cline

Connect Cline to CLōD's model catalog with one API key, tool calling supported.

Overview

Cline is a VS Code extension for agentic coding. CLōD's OpenAI-compatible endpoint integrates directly, giving you access to 50+ models and cheaper inference for every agent action.

Prerequisites

• CLōD account, free at app.clod.io
• Cline installed
• CLōD API key (Dashboard → API Keys → Generate)

Setup

Step 1: Get your CLōD API key

Sign in at app.clod.io → API Keys → Generate Key.

Step 2: Configure Cline

In VS Code, open Cline settings.

Set:
- Provider: OpenAI Compatible
- Base URL: https://api.clod.io/v1
- API Key: your CLōD API key

Save and restart Cline.

Step 3: Select a tool-calling model

For full agentic functionality, use a tool-calling capable model. Check app.clod.io/auth/models for the full list.

Available Models

CLōD supports 50+ models. For agentic tools, use models that support tool calling / function calling.
